Mobile Artwork Focus by Independent Recoat Gallery’s Artists.

Ford has introduced their new art car, based on the latest generation Ford Focus. As the result, a color-sprayed colorful graffiti on the car courtesy of six Independent Recoat Gallery’s artists; Lyken, FiST, Syrkus, Rue 5, Death Rattles and Al White — who only needed around six hours transforming this one of a kind Ford Focus art car in front of the Glasgow Royal Concert Hall in Buchanan Street. Yes, they used color spray for it.

Amy Whiten, the Recoat Gallery manager stated,

“The artists we have at Recoat have been doing great work in Scotland and we are delighted to get the chance to show what we can do. We’ve worked on a few different vehicle projects but this is the first time the artists have collaborated on completely restyling the paint job of a car.”

The new Focus art car will be a part of Ford’s Centenary Tour exhibition, which will point out the company’s most important historic moments since it first entered the British market.
